Matty Ewing & Maddie Poeta (me) met on the set of MARE OF EASTTOWN in 2019, both at the earlier stages of their careers. Two overactive imaginations and big ambitions quickly made them great friends.

A couple of years later, Maddie (me) called on Matty to help film her first short film as the camera operator, and he jumped on the idea. About a month after filming, that short “Erosion” was born! A smaller team, but hungry and driven to keep creating, so they called Josh Epstein (Lead Producer of Chickentown) to help bring Erosion to life.

Erosion was shot entirely on 35mm film and on a Steadicam. Matty, Maddie, and Josh went from the beaches to the mountains with a great crew to film. We are currently in post-production and cannot wait for you all to see this beautiful story!
